Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
Our church is at 1701 Sparta Road in Belton, Texas. We’re across Sparta Road from Belton Middle School, at Loop 121 and Sparta Road. Enter our parking lot from Sparta Road.
What time does the service begin?
Worship begins at 10:00am each Sunday. If you’d like to come earlier and get acquainted, we have small group gatherings at 9:00am.
Do you have programs for kids?
- We have a nursery for babies up to but not quite out of diapers for the entire service.
- We have Critter Land for kids out of diapers, but not yet in kindergarten for the entire service.
- We have Kids’ Church for kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids are dismissed to Kids’ Church before the pastor begins his sermon. You may pick up your children following the service.
- NOTE: Kids’ Church takes a break during the summer months.
How do I register my kids?
As part of our safety system, we use Planning Center Check Ins.
Each of your children will receive a sticker with their name on it (and any allergies), and you will receive a pick up ticket. That’s how we make sure only eligible people are picking up kids. If you’re a first time guest, we’ll help you with this process.

What should I wear?
At our church, you’ll see everything from shorts and flip flops to suits and dresses. Our pastor typically wears jeans.
What happens during a service?
While we are open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, you will usually find the following elements in a service:
- welcome and announcements
- worship through music (about four songs with a live band)
- worship through prayer time
- worship through giving
- worship through the Message.
- Altogether, we’re typically done in an hour.
Do I have to give money?
You do not have to give anything, nor will we pressure you to give. Everyone has the opportunity to donate, but it is not required.
What if I have more questions?
We have a great team made up of pastoral staff and leaders in our church who would be happy to talk with you. Just let us know. We’re here to help.
What if I’m not sure what I believe?
We’ve all been there at some point. We’re understanding with those who have lots of questions about faith. We actually think that’s a good thing.
What happens if I show up early?
Our “Grow” Classes for all ages begin at 9:00am.
Can I check out a Message before I visit?

Is the message just going to guilt-trip me?
Jesus is the focal point of our messages, and He gives new life and lots of grace.
What if I don’t have a Bible?
That’s ok. We have traditional paper Bibles (you can keep it), or you can get a digital one here for your device. We have our notes in this Bible app.
Can I invite my friends?
Yes! The more, the merrier!
Do you have free Wifi?
Yes! Ask the folks in the sound booth if you need help connecting.
